Motorcycle Warranty Forever® Making Immediate Impact

Bike Week in Daytona, FL has historically been the unofficial kick-off of motorcycle season for the majority of the riders in the country. Warm weather, extended weekends and long cruises with our friends are just some of the things we riders look forward to as spring settles in and snow piles disappear.

For NAE/NWAN, the move into the second quarter signifies an upturn in business, especially motorcycle business. Riders put away their Sorels and replace them with their riding leathers. They park the snowblower and put a fresh polish on their V-Twin. And, finally, they put away their down jackets and replace them with sunscreen and sunglasses.

With the release (and immediate success) of Motorcycle Warranty Forever, those long rides become even more casual and care-free. No longer will you have to worry about the high cost of repairs to the motor and transmission. Motorcycle Warranty Forever covers the original owner of the bike in the event of costly repairs….for life. All the owner has to do is perform the recommended maintenance at the prescribed intervals, and they’re covered…. for life! No cost, no deductible and no expiration are just some of the benefits Motorcycle Warranty Forever riders will experience.

Dealers are seeing Motorcycle Warranty Forever as a way to provide an exclusive and enhanced ownership experience for their customers. Dealers are also seeing customers driving hours to shop at a dealership offering Warranty Forever on all of their eligible units. In addition to driving further, customers have also shown patience in waiting for “their” bike to come in and be available with coverage for life.

Atkinson to Pull Double Duty at PALS 2016

LAS VEGAS — Organizers of the annual P&A Leadership Summit have announced that Jimmy Atkinson, COO of AUL Corp., will serve as a panel moderator and closing keynote speaker at the 2016 event, which will be held Aug. 30–31 at Paris Las Vegas.

Atkinson’s panel, “Threats Facing the F&I Industry,” will begin at 2:05 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 30. He will be joined by National Automotive Experts’ David Neuenschwander, David Pryor of Safe-Guard Products International, Mike Saint of Assurant Risk Management, and National Auto Care’s Tony Wanderon.

“TPAs today are facing multiple threats, from moving our products into a dealer’s digital marketplace to adapting and adjusting to rapidly changing technology in the vehicles we cover,” Atkinson said. “How to make the leap in a profitable way is a big challenge, and I’m excited to lead a panel of some of the most successful folks in our industry to address these issues.”

At 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, Atkinson will deliver “The Pre-Owned Correction and F&I’s Big Opportunity,” the closing keynote address for P&A Leadership Summit as well as the co-located Industry Summit. He is expected to discuss the imminent correction that will inject large numbers of high-mileage vehicles into the used-car market and how, with proper planning, product providers, agents and dealers can take full advantage.

“With decades of experience and a track record of success, Jimmy is precisely the type of executive and leader our event was designed to showcase and serve,” said David Gesualdo, show chair and publisher of P&A magazine. “We have nothing but the highest of expectations for both sessions.”

National Automotive Experts Honored By Cleveland Christian Home

Cleveland Christian Home (CCH) celebrated its Homecoming with an Awards Luncheon and Open House event on Saturday, October 3, 2015.

Many of CCH’s warm-hearted supporters braved the cool and rainy morning to help celebrate a few of its special friends and generous donors with an honorary luncheon.  Attendees also had the opportunity to tour the CCH Residential Treatment Center.  The day’s theme, You’ll Never Walk Alone, served as a reminder to the children and families helped by Cleveland Christian Home that there are many people who care about them and will work together to spread hope and healing.

Among the deserved honorees was National Automotive Experts, Strongsville, OH who received the Invest in Children Award.

National Automotive Experts (NAE) is a shining star, not only to its dealers and agents but to the children and families whose lives they change by supporting Cleveland Christian Home.  Kelly Price, Founder and President and her fantastic team of employees and associates have developed amazing relationships with each other, and in 2007, NAE adopted Cleveland Christian Home with an enthusiasm that is contagious.

The creative ways they bring awareness of CCH’s mission and raise much needed funds to care for others is inspiring.  If you look at their website, there is an entire page dedicated to the work they do to make a difference in the their community.

The NAE, their families and even their church groups, now staff CCH’s Santa’s workshop every weekend in December leading up to Christmas.  They organize the space, wrap presents, write tags, create spreadsheets, and spread more cheer than they could possibly know.  That first Saturday is really special, because it is the day of NAE’s annual holiday party.  Staff from across the country—from Nebraska to Texas, Oklahoma to Pennsylvania, and (of course) Ohio spend their day volunteering in Santa’s Workshop.  This is just the start of their holiday rush and rally to make sure that each and every child CCH serves gets their hearts desire on Christmas morning!

NAE has also been the Presenting Sponsor of the CCH 5K Run and Walk for the Kids event at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo since 2012.  In addition to the sponsorship, the compassionate and caring crew goes ‘all out’ to participate and contribute to the event’s success.

PALS Panel on Self-Governance Draws Interest

LAS VEGAS — Organizers of the annual P&A Leadership Summit have announced that “Govern or Be Governed,” a compliance-themed panel staffed by leading executives from the F&I product providers segment, is drawing marked interest among attendees. The event will be held Sept. 9–10 at Paris Las Vegas.

“It’s clear [the topic] has struck a nerve in the industry, where compliance in general and the machinations of the CFPB in particular weigh heavily on the minds of dealers and the directors of the companies that serve them,” said David Gesualdo, show chair and publisher of F&I and Showroom and P&A magazines. “The fact that many of the leading minds in the F&I products segment were willing to take on this topic is undoubtedly among the main reasons the panel is generating a high level of intrigue throughout the industry.”

The panel is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 2 p.m. Moderator Tim Meenan, an attorney and managing partner of Meenan PA, will be joined by Steve Amos, president of GSFSGroup; David DeCredico, senior vice president of business development for EasyCare; Doug Frey, Allstate Dealer Services’ executive vice president and COO; Mark Macek, president of United States Warranty Corp.; and Kelly Price, president of National Automotive Experts.

Among other topics, the panel is expected to speculate on what form guidance from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in the F&I products arena might take, including price or markup controls; whether product providers can stave off new regulations by preemptively imposing their own rules; and how providers, agents and dealers can work together to ensure that their interests, as well as those of car buyers, can be protected in such a scenario.

Registration for the P&A Leadership Summit is now open. More information, including the full agenda, speakers and hotel room block is available at the event’s website. To inquire about sponsorship or exhibition opportunities, contact David Gesualdo via email hidden; JavaScript is required or call 727-947-4027.
