Wise F&I Integrates with Dealertrack

ST. LOUIS  – Wise F&I LLC, a leading finance and insurance product provider, has integrated with Dealertrack to provide dealerships real-time access to Wise F&I products for price quotes and the electronic contracting of aftermarket products through the Dealertrack Aftermarket NetworkTM.

Through the Dealertrack Aftermarket Network, the F&I sales and submission processes are all handled online providing a more accurate and streamlined contract rating process. The integration supports a range of Wise F&I products including GAP, Appearance Care, Vehicle Service Contracts and Theft Deterrent programs. Wise F&I products will be presented through Dealertrack eMenuTM, ensuring up-to-date pricing and information to their customers.

Dealertrack Releases 2016 Dealertrack Compliance Guide

LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y. — Dealertrack has released the 2016 edition of its Dealertrack Compliance Guide in print and online formats. The guide, written for dealers and is free of charge, is designed to help dealers protect their dealerships from audits, fines and consumer fraud.

The new edition contains new Federal laws — including new regulations governing dealer advertising — that have taken effect in 2016.

The 2016 guide also offers recommended practices for data safeguards and identity theft protection. It also contains instructions on how dealers can implement a compliance management system.

Dealer.com Becomes Primary Web Platform for Cox Automotive Clients

ATLANTA — Cox Automotive announced that the Dealer.com website solution will serve as the primary solution for Cox Automotive customers. Current users of VinSolutions’ website product will migrate to the Dealer.com platform beginning in early 2016.

During the migration, which should be completed within 24 months, all VinSolutions website clients will be fully supported under the terms of their existing contracts. Dealer.com joined the Cox Automotive family as part of the Dealertrack acquisition, which was completed on Oct. 1.

COX Automotive Execs Named Leading Women

ATLANTA, Ga. — Three top executives at Cox Automotive were named to Automotive News’ 100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry during the publication’s annual awards ceremony.

Jane Barnard, president of Manheim North America, Lori Wittman, vice president and general manager of VinSolutions and Sharon Kitzman, vice president and general manager of Dealer Management Systems, all made the list, which honors influential women who make major decisions.

The selection committee for the award considered the size and importance of the candidates business, the health and direction of the business and the arc of each individual’s career, according to Automotive News.

Barnard directs Manheim’s overall operations, overseeing the strategic business functions including sales, inventory services and client experience. She also acts as a member of Cox Automotive’s leadership team.

Wittman directs all aspects of VinSolutions’ operations, including websites, client relationship software and digital marketing products. She is noted by Cox as specializing in driving cross-functional teams to deliver business results and manage change while developing lasting relationships with business partners, clients and colleagues.

In her role, Kitzman manages the strategic direction of and product development for Dealertrack DMS. She has negotiated key OEM agreements for dealers and shaped successful product integration initiatives.

Cox Appoints Dealertrack’s Sundaram to New Post

ATLANTA — Following its recent acquisition of Dealertrack Technologies, Cox Automotive has appointed Dealertrack’s former co-president, Raj Sundaram, as its chief client success officer. Sundaram will report directly to Cox Automotive President Sandy Schwartz.

In this key position, Sundaram will be responsible for helping clients successfully increase efficiency and grow their business utilizing the combined companies’ comprehensive solutions.

“Client success has always been our top priority, and now with Dealertrack we will take the definition of client success to a new level,” Schwartz said. “With offerings that span the entire value chain in automotive retail, we will take a more strategic approach to delivering the best, most innovative solutions our combined companies have to offer. Raj is the perfect person to lead this effort with his extensive client relationships and deep understanding of the auto industry.”

Widely known as an automotive industry visionary, Sundaram has a proven record of developing analytics-driven solutions to complex challenges. Before Dealertrack, he was president and owner of Automotive Lease Guide Inc., where he was instrumental in driving innovation and developing forecasting tools and analytics that helped ALG become the industry benchmark for residual values. Earlier, at Nissan North America Inc., he held several positions of leadership in financial planning, market research and pricing. Sundaram began his career at Ford Motor Company in the controller’s office.

ORLANDO, Fla.– US Equity Advantage® (USEA) announced today that it is now integrated with Dealertrack’s Menu and Aftermarket Network solutions.

A leading provider of biweekly payment programs for the automotive industry with more than 100 combined years of F&I experience, USEA services more types of menu software systems than anyone in the industry, according to CEO Robert Steenbergh.
