Auto/Mate Integrates DMS With MaximTrak F&I Suite


ALBANY, N.Y. — Auto/Mate Dealership Systems has integrated its dealership management system (DMS) with MaximTrak Technologies’ F&I Suite. Auto dealers using both systems may now benefit from a real-time, bi-directional exchange of information.

“Our Open/Mate certification is easy, inexpensive and fast for third-party vendors, lowering costs and expanding vendor choices for dealers,” said Mike Esposito, president and CEO of Auto/Mate Dealership Systems.

MaximTrak’s F&I Menu Platform allows F&I managers to create custom menu presentations, including branded presentations with customer graphics and color design, navigate between screens, and present multiple deal scenarios with a flexible interface. MaximTrak also allows data to be saved as a presentation progresses, eliminating the need to re-type information.

“Our focus is on creating a better buying experience for the customers, which is accomplished by the professionalism and speed of our F&I menu and reporting solutions,” said Jim Maxim Jr., president of MaximTrak Technologies. “Having our product suite integrated with a dealer’s DMS eliminates redundancies and errors caused by incomplete transfer of information.”

Auto/Mate Receives Top Workplaces Award


ALBANY, N.Y. — Auto/Mate Dealership Systems announced Monday that it was selected as one of The Times Union Top Workplaces in New York’s Capital Region, the third consecutive year Auto/Mate has been distinguished with the award.

The Top Workplaces are determined based solely on employee feedback. The employee survey is conducted by WorkplaceDynamics LLC, a research firm focused on organizational health and employee engagement. WorkplaceDynamics conducts regional Top Workplaces programs with 40 major publishing partners across the United States.

TimeHighway Integrates With Auto/Mate’s DMS


Albany, N.Y. — TimeHighway completed integration of its service scheduling solution with Auto/Mate’s Automotive Management Productivity Suite (AMPS) dealership management system, allowing for a real-time data exchange between the two systems.

“Many dealers are focused on improving service department processes,” said Mike Esposito, president and CEO, Auto/Mate. “Having an online scheduling solution makes it easy for customers to schedule appointments at their own convenience and allows service department employees to spend more face time with customers, improving customer service.”

NAC Partners With Directed to Provide Smartphone CRM App & Revenue Generator


Columbus, Ohio – NAC, an administrator of vehicle programs and online business solutions, and Directed, a designer and marketer of aftermarket consumer-branded vehicle control and security systems, formed a strategic partnership.

The AutoMate Commercial Auto Program from Directed allows dealers to deliver content and real-time information to their customers. The app, which is customized and branded for each participating dealership, is cloud-linked and includes marketing tools to send e-mail, in-app messaging and SMS service reminders to customers. Auto/Mate Fully Integrates With Toyota’s Dealer Communication System


CLIFTON PARK — Auto/Mate Dealership Systems has completed full integration of its dealership management system, Automotive Management Productivity Suite (AMPS), with the Toyota DMS integration program.

Toyota dealerships using AMPS can now communicate seamlessly with Toyota Motors Sales USA Inc. through integration points in all departments, including sales, F&I and accounting. The Lexus interfaces have also been successfully developed and tested with TMS, reported F&I and Showroom.

“The trend by auto manufacturers to incorporate open standards into their systems greatly benefits dealerships,” said Mike Esposito, president and CEO of Auto/Mate. “Not only does it eliminate the high costs that legacy DMS vendors traditionally charge for custom development; it allows all DMS vendors to potentially provide seamless integration with manufacturers, thereby increasing competition and choices in the market, which further reduces costs for dealerships.”

The technology used in Toyota’s Dealer Daily communications system is based on standards set by the Standards for Technology in Automotive Retail, an organization that promotes the use of non-proprietary technology.

In February, Auto/Mate announced a partial integration of AMPS with 13 interfaces; now every module in AMPS is able to connect in real-time with TMS via a web-based portal. The final integration approval was granted after Auto/Mate’s participation for more than a year in the Toyota Dealer Daily Open Access Project. The latest updates to AMPS include:

ŸFixed Ops: AMPS seamlessly sends parts inventory, retrieves vehicle shipping information, special service campaigns, allows for parts orders and returns, transmits repair order information, retrieves operation codes, sends customer updates and retrieves national service history data.

ŸF&I/Sales: On demand or automatically, AMPS acquires and transmits vehicle inventory adjustments, retail delivery and credit contracts.

ŸAccounting: Redundancies are eliminated with AMPS as it transmits financial statement information, retrieves warranty payment data and transmits all customer information updates.

Auto/Mate’s AMPS is a robust, easy-to-use dealership management system with more than 20 integrated modules to help dealers manage their business. It supports an unlimited number of users, workstations and printers, and can be implemented in any size dealership.
