Announcing Agent Summit 2011

I am very proud of Agent Entrepreneur’s success and since its inception in late June/early July, we have not only fulfilled our promise to our subscribers, we have exceeded our expectations as shown in the increase in subscribers, contributors and advertisers.

As a proud member of management with Agent Entrepreneur, I am pleased to announce that we teamed up with F&I and Showroom to create the first of its kind Agent Summit (agentsummit.com) to be held March 8-9, 2011, at the Las Vegas Hilton in Las Vegas. This two-day Agent Summit has been formed solely with the automotive independent agent in mind and will feature some of the top trainers and experts in the industry.

I am currently working with Greg Arroyo, executive editor of F&I and Showroom, on our line up of speakers, panelists and topics and I am very excited, as I think you will be, about what will be covered at the Agent Summit.  As I want to cover all areas of interest and concern, I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or ideas on what you would like to see offered so that I can do my best to include it in the conference.

First Details Emerge for Agent Summit

LAS VEGAS – Sources close to both organizations are reporting that F&I and Showroom and Agent Entrepreneur’s collaborative effort to launch an agents-only conference is nearing fruition. Expectations are high for the new event, which is rumored to have already attracted many of the top trainers in the general agent segment.

Calls to the Las Vegas Hilton confirmed that Agent Summit 2011 is scheduled for March 8 and 9 of next year and will include both conference and exhibition space. The format of the show will likely follow that of F&I and Showroom’s F&I Conference and Expo. That event celebrated its seventh anniversary this September and featured its first-ever Agent Symposium. The one-day, pre-show event was a success, attracting 160 attendees with a slate of targeted workshops led by high-profile speakers and trainers.

David Gesualdo, F&I and Showroom publisher and conference chair, hinted in the magazine’s post-show coverage that favorable returns from the symposium could lead to a standalone event.

“General agents are a key partner to, and often a lifeline for, their dealer clients,” Gesualdo said. “We have always enjoyed the presence of our agent friends at the F&I Conference. If there is demand for an agents-only show, we would consider that as the logical next step.”
