Is attending the Agent Summit on your list of objectives for 2012? If not, it should be. The 2-day information filled conference devoted specifically to your business is the place to move all those objectives into action. The event delivers the latest training techniques, trends and challenges to assist top GAs on better serving their dealer clients.

Agent Summit 2012 presented by Agent Entrepreneur in partnership with F&I and Showroom will feature top trainers of the industry and executives from leading product providers and agencies:

  • Paul Webb, Paul Webb Training

Paul Webb will deliver one of the event’s opening keynote address.
A 20-year industry veteran, Webb is principal of Paul Webb Training, a nationally recognized firm that counts many of the nation’s top auto dealers among its clients. A highly sought-after speaker, Webb has addressed crowds ranging from dealer seminars to NADA conventions and 20 Groups.

“I’m excited to speak at the Agent Summit in 2012,” Webb said. “Change starts with education, and each summit provides new and exciting ideas to assist agents with the management of change. Communication skills are critical in presenting products and services. We’ll address the decision process so you’ll understand how to change your mind and keep the change. I look forward to seeing everyone in 2012.”

  • John Braganini, Great Lakes Companies

John Braganini, principal of Great Lakes Companies, will present the events evening keynote address. Braganini told F&I and Showroom that his address, titled “Smart Today, Success Tomorrow,” will focus on long-term strategies for success. “I will identify 10 agency operations and management strategies that we have used to build and develop the Great Lakes Companies over a 25-year period,” he said.

  • Ron Reahard, Reahard & Associates

Reahard is the president of Reahard & Associates and the author of the firm’s customized, in-dealership training programs. He also is a highly sought-after speaker, having led training sessions for the NADA, state and local dealer associations and the annual F&I Conference, among others.

Reahard plans to share his thoughts on the importance of general agents to their dealer clients. “The focus is on bringing value to dealers,” he told F&I and Showroom, noting that agents are particularly well-positioned to help dealers respond to changes in the economic climate and the industry itself. “That’s what agents have to do: help dealers,” he said.

This event to help you improve your dealers’ F&I performance and profits takes place March 12–14, 2012, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

LAS VEGAS — Organizers of Agent Summit 2012 have announced that John Braganini, principal of Great Lakes Companies, will deliver the event’s evening keynote address. The second annual Agent Summit, scheduled for March 12-14 at Caesars Palace Las Vegas is organized by Agent Entrepreneur and presented in partnership with F&I and Showroom.

Webb to Kick Off Agent Summit 2012

LAS VEGAS — Organizers of the second annual Agent Summit, scheduled for March 12–14, 2012, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, have announced that leading trainer Paul Webb will deliver the event’s opening keynote address.

David Gesualdo, show chair and publisher of F&I and Showroom magazine, said he was both humbled and proud to have Webb on board.

“We started small,” Gesualdo said. “Nobody who was there last March would say otherwise. But we filled the room, as they say, and we know next year’s show will put us at the next level in scale and scope. Having Paul on the team is a major step toward that goal.”

Agent Summit is the first event of its kind designed specifically by and for automotive general agents. The 2011 conference and expo drew more than 200 attendees from across the country, laying the groundwork for the larger event next year.

Upcoming Conferences – Must Attend Events

Now that Tax season is behind us (at least for most of us) and I have begun planning the remainder of my year, I couldn’t help but notice the next set of conferences on the horizon. Yes, that’s right, I said set (or batch or grouping, if you prefer). On September 26th through 28th of 2011, at the Las Vegas Hilton, the Industry Summit will be held. The Industry Summit is comprised of three conferences The F&I Conference, the Vehicle Service Contract Administrators Conference (VSCAC), and the Special Finance Conference.

The idea behind the Industry Summit couldn’t have been explained better than explained on its website www.IndustrySummit.com, “Success in automotive retail requires close contact between dealers and the finance sources, agents, trainers and product providers that serve as their partners. Industry Summit 2011 represents an important step toward that goal.” It is for this very reason that the Special Financing Conference has decided to join the F&I Conference & Expo and the VSCAC in 2011.

At the Industry Summit, attendees will be able to have access to a wealth of information through both the conference and related workshops and speaking engagements. And the networking and business-to-business opportunities that will exist will be immense. This is going to be a “can’t miss” event.

Once we all have been able to experience the Industry Summit, and make it through the holidays, we have the Agent Summit 2012 to look forward to. For all those who were able to attend the Agent Summit this past spring, you know what a great success it was in its first year off the ground. We have even bigger plans scheduled for 2012 which not only include a great selection of panelists, workshops and exhibitors, there is also in the plans arrangements for pre-conference events such as association meetings and the scheduling of a golf or poker tournament. For additional information on the 2012 Agent Summit you can visit www.AgentSummit.com.

So, mark your calendars for the Industry Summit in September from the 26th through the 28th, at the Las Vegas Hilton, and the Agent Summit in March 2012, from the 12th through the 14th, at Caesar’s Palace – Las Vegas. These are “must attend” events and will definitely make it onto my calendar.

First Details Released For Agent Summit 2012

LAS VEGAS – F&I and Showroom and Agent Entrepreneur announced this week that Agent Summit 2012 will be held March 12–14 at Las Vegas’ Caesars Palace.

Agent Summit 2011 took place March 8–9 at the Las Vegas Hilton and was co-sponsored by Agent Entrepreneur and F&I and Showroom. The agenda was packed with a Who’s Who of speakers, panelists and industry experts, and based on the feedback from the attendees, the event was a great success. After welcoming more than 200 attendees to last month’s first annual event, organizers decided to expand the Agent Summit for 2012.

Following the show, however, F&I’s publisher, David Gesualdo, expressed regret at having to limit the size of the inaugural event. “We didn’t anticipate the attendance or the level of interest from exhibitors,” Gesualdo said. “At one point, we had to start turning people away, but for 2012, we plan to accommodate everyone.”

The new venue at Caesars will allow the organizers to expand the agenda, host separate conference and exhibition spaces and open the schedule for pre-conference events such as association meetings, and a golf or poker tournament. The move will affect the scope, but not the quality, of the event.

“Caesars Palace is a great property right on the strip and can accommodate the growth we expect,” Gesualdo said. “We’re excited about the move to Caesars, the quality of the agenda, and the enthusiasm with which the attendees have embraced the concept.”
