Regional Sales Account Executives for California and the Mid-West

We have immediate openings available for Regional Sales Account Executives for California and the Mid-West. These individuals will drive sales to new customers & existing clients within their assigned territories through face-to-face contact. Responsible for management of existing client accounts, exceeding service expectations & assuring continuous satisfaction and support.

There is a high degree of travel required whereby the Account Executive will detect and qualify prospective clients as well as coordinate sales meetings at dealerships. Product demonstrations are made directly to the dealers, particularly in new markets where our reputation has yet to establish RPMOne as the preferred provider.

Under the supervision of the Vice President of Sales, the Account Executive oversees the assigned Account Managers and is accountable for their individual & group sales goals and objectives. Achieving the assigned individual and group goals requires experience as a sales leader demonstrating effective use of exquisite communication skills and problem solving capabilities. Ideal candidates will have a leadership background in customer service and sales.

Duties include:

  • Increase F&I product sales through new dealer sign-ups
  • Generate business through direct marketing, cross-selling, and presence in the community
  • Provide customers with a clear understanding of all technical aspects and benefits of products/services
  • Train existing dealers on methods to improve contract production, penetrations and F&I profitability
  • Train & coach Account Managers on techniques to drive penetration levels & grow departmental profits
  • Develop & maintain detailed financial plans for each customer
  • Develop, communicate & execute Service Plans for all accounts

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent years of relevant experience in business operations, sales management and/or account management
  • At least six years of professional experience in sales, customer service and/or sales leadership in a related industry
  • Must have the ability to travel at least 60% of the time
  • Experience and Confidence in:
    • F&I Sales
    • Sales Management
    • General Management and/or General Sales Management
    • Power sports/Automotive Training to Dealers
    • B2B Sales
    • Warranty Company Experience a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; specifically telephonic communications
  • Advanced computer proficiency with expert knowledge of MS Office Products
  • Proven ability to lead sales teams in building funnel of prospects with experience in networking and new business development as well as developing sales forecasts
  • Resourceful, well-organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented

Preferences & Special Requirements:

  • Strong preference for those experienced as Manager of Finance & Insurance or Sales Management and or General Sales within the Power Sports and/or Automotive markets
  • Local candidates are strongly preferred
  • Non-local candidates should not expect relocation assistance for this position
